About us

Eleven years ago I did not know our family was going down a golden path to fun and fascinating friendships with dogs at our home.  It was when our first Golden Retriever, Miley won our hearts and we have her ours that is when the story began.  Miley was a sweet and loving puppy that wanted to please and gave her whole heart to us.

 

I am Lynn Kerkman, a Visiting Nurse by occupation and so happy that we brought Goldens into our life.  Being raised on a dairy farm that had many animals besides cows. I grew up with dogs, horses, goats, hedgehogs, chickens, a miniature donkey, miniature horses, deer, peacocks, turkeys etc? Although I grew up with many animals dogs captured my spirit.

 

Fortunately my husband Patrick Dubey shares my love for Goldens and all our animals. Our 2 youngest boys Matthew and Connor love the dogs and have a large part of helping raise our furbabies.

 

Shortly after sharing our home with Miley, Max came to join us. Max and Miley complimented each other and with their first litter of puppies, came a litter of ten that had their own room in our kitchen. One of my favorites from that litter was Hannah. She is now a therapy dog that has a job at St. Lukes Hospital in Milwaukee. There is an article about her in the April/May 2020 issue of Our Wisconsin magazine.  So many people love Hannah that she is famous. 

 

Gradually I added Bella, Izzy, Bentley, Shelby, and Nova.  There is a diverse group of dogs that we share our house with. Bentley is our handsome stud dog. He turns heads wherever he goes. He has a calm and quiet nature to go with his good looks.  He does have his CGC.

 

I raise our puppy litters with love and care while using the Puppy Culture technique. The program includes many exercises that teach the puppies as they grow beginning in the whelping box. The lessons provide early neurological training that is the basis for a strong confident dog you will want to take everywhere you go.
